Hey, I've finally decided to remember that I have this site, and work on it again. Unfortunately, I don't have anything realy new to add, just a story and that's about it. I haven't worked on any chapters - or, rather, finish any - and what I have worked on are for personal stories that I probably never will put up, anywhere.
I have, however, reactivat the menu option for my Harry Potter Reading series, as well as add another version of it, called Inter-Dimentional Readings, in which the canon version of Harry Potter, as well as my version for In Truth of Our Abilities all read the Harry Potter books, and not just the canon ones, but the ones for the other dimension as well.
I will admit that the person stories I have been working on are for Star Wars and Sailor Moon, two series I love, though there are some things I don't like about both - most of Episode III, particularly the downgrade to Padmé Amidala's character (She went from a strong woman to a bit of a weakling in the third movie) (I also didn't like how her characer acted in the second movie, though I don't believe that was actually her fault, just the story line in general. I mean, think about it, she tells Anakin no, but wears rather seductive outfits, and then still falls for him even after learning that he senselessly killed a bunch of people? Maybe it's just me, but I just don't like the idea of that, and don't think of it as really being plausible, either. Truthfully, I don't think she really loved Anakin as much as the idea of him and having someone seemingly love her just for her - considering her high poliical career and rather famous name, I can see her having trouble finding a man who wants her for her, and not for what she could do for him.)
As for Sailor Moon, the whole Stars Arc was the worse thing that happened to the series, as was the Anime, for the most part. I hated the stars arc in the manga, the only saving/worthy points of it being Chibi Chibi (AKA, really young Usagi who is actually her future self, as Sailor Cosmos), and the fact that she and Mamoru get married at the end. While I haven't watched it, though, the parts of the Stars Anime arc that I have seen, as well as all that I've heard about it make it all that much worse, for it takes the only saving grace of the manga part, and changes it to something that ruins it entirely. I mean, I can understand that, due to how the chracters were in the anime's previous episodes and seasons - which by the way, is part of the reason why the anime is kind of bad to begin with - they were kind of stuck with them, but then, at the same time it was an oppotunity to show growth for the chracters, something that they didn't do at all. More than that, though, was that they changed who Chibi Chibi was in teh end, and that, in my opinion, was the thing that ruined the arc completely, kept it from being somethign I would consider watching. As for the Anime itself, while enjoyable, the lack of growth for Usagi and the other chracters - mostly Usagi - as well as the coldness for the outer scouts to the inner, and Usagi (the princess) as well just really turned me off to it, though I do still enjoy watching seasons three and four of the anime the most, though season two wasn't to bad, and the first part of season one was okay as well. I think what turns me off most about it is that, in all honesty, the way the anime portrays the love of Usagi and Mamoru is just...wrong. It doesn't feel like the two are actually in love, just that they're together because they were when they were Serenity and Endymion, and that doesn't strike me as good, because it actually detracts from th idea that they are actually in love because of each other, and not because of the past. The manga showed this really well in the fact that it has the two actually starting to get along and fall for each other before they even knew about the past, as well as learning of each other's secret identity before tehy even learned about the past as well. And, while I don't like how the second arc of the mange went - mostly, the fact that Mamoru was brainwashed, again, by Chibiusa, which just struck me as wrong, since, if I'm remembering correctly, she'd learn already that he was actually her father - it actually didn't subtract from the manga at all, making it way better than that anime, where Mamoru actually breaks-up with Usagi for no reason, other than dreams that, if he had actually thought about it, could have been sent by the enemy.
Anyway. as you can tell, I do have a lot to say about the anime of Sailor Moon, and how much it sucked - though, as I may have already mentioned, I did like it watching it, and still do watch it occasionally when I can. But, this entry isn't about Sailor Moon. It's about the stories that I come up for it, and how, if I think they're good enough, I just may end up posting it up on here. It's a very iffy thing, though, as, while I like what I've come up with, I know that not many people would actually like them. And the same for the Star Wars fics. I just know there will be those who don't like what I come up with.
Anyway, these are the updates at the moment. Hopefully, I don't end up forgetting about that I have this, up, and I'll be updating most of the stories up on here, and on other sites as well soon.
