Okay, here is the first note to this series. Now, the first thing I want it to be known is this is my mega series. I am rather hopeful that, as I get more and more into it - and not just for the part of it that I'm doing know, but all of it - that it will become one of my more definitely read series. That said, I suppose people might want to know where I came up with it. That's simple - I've been thinking about this for a while, ever since I read a Twilight/X-Men story that has a Bella who is basically Wolverine in the story, along with a Harry Potter story that has Hermione having a rather unique abilities, which I shamelessly copied to a point for this story. This started me on wondering what a Bella who has Rogue's power would be like. I've also been planning on doing a series that Twilight/Harry Potter crossover, as well as several other crossover, which I still have plans to do, for some. However, when I started the Twilight/X-men crossover, I saw a potential for something more.
And that potential is this series. I figures that, while it would be hard to do, making a crossover series that doesn't just do two crossovers, but more - and even includes Original Characters - would be a challenge that I was going to take. Because the Twilight part was the first part to go through my mind, it became even easier for me to be willing to start with that one, though it is not the first arc of the series.
I've always decided that the series would start in the Harry Potter realm - with hints of the X-men realm a bit more than it is in the other parts of the series. This is because, for the most part, the Harry Potter realm starts in the age of being a child - the characters are eleven when they begin Hogwarts.
After that, the elements of the second, third, and fourth arcs are actually elements that take place around the same time, and may actually crossover into each other at one point or another - I know of at least one instance that all three will, concerning the first book of all three.
Of course, not all is well for the series. The arcs are supsequencially named because they have more than one book in them that focuses on one to two characters in particular, save for the first arc, which mostly focuses on the adventures at Hogwarts, and therefore will be allowing all characters to have some screen time - a reason why it'll most likely be written in third person over first up until the last book, which changes from that, as it's the book that takes place at the same time as the other arcs. That said, because of the nature of the fifth arc - Above the Calling - that is the arc that doesn't so much as have a series of books on one or two of the characters - or even on the place where the characters spend a lot of time at - but it an arc with a book each for the remaining characters - at least, most of them, as those that are together will share a book, and the Original Characters will most likely not have a book.
Anyway, that's where this series comes from. I should note that at least one of the characters with a book destined for the fifth arc my end up with it's own arc, but, at the moment, there are no plans for that.
