This site is where all of my stories will be found, even those that are not a series. I no longer see a point is separating them, and having two different sites for them, so they will now be found in one site only.
Now, how this site will work is like this:
- The main menu - what you see to the right of the screeen - will have the main title of the series, unless the story is not a series. To find a non-series story I write, it will be under the heading Non-Series Stories. That page, when you click on it, will hold all the information about the series. For the non-series, you will see a list of the stories on there, as well as the genres, book type, word counts, chapter counts, and what category it is if the story is a fan fiction. For the series pages, they will have the summary of the full series, as well as what the fandom is for fan fictions,a list of what stories are in the series, along with their genres, book type, word counts, chapter counts, and series banner. For my super series - those that have arcs to the that are series in their own rights - they will have the list of what the arcs are called, genres, book count, and word count of all the 'books' in each are together; there will also be a super series banner if I have one done.
- Then, there are the first sub-menus. These are the menus that fold out when you hover your mouse over the menu to the right. Depending on which you click says what you'll get. For the Non-Series stories, the first sub-menu, when clicked, will bring you to the story summary page, which will hold the summary of the story, an individual banner for the story, playlist of songs that I listened to when typing the story - particularly those songs that were done repeatedly while listening - and a list of the chapters in the story for quick linking to the chapter page. There will also be a link to the first page of the story. For the series pages, it will be set up like the non-series stories first sub-menus as well. For the Super Series first sub-menu pages, it will have the Arc series summary, a banner for the arc, a list of the stories in the arc, which will have the genres, book type, individual word counts, individual chapter counts, and what category the stories are - basically, these pages will look like what the main menu page of series looks like.
- Next are the second sub-menu pages, which fold out from the first sub-menu pages. These pages, for the individual stories of the series and the non-series stories, will hold the chapters of that story. However, for my super series, these pages are what the first sub-menus are to the series and non-series main pages. They will hold the induvidual summary for the story, individual playlist of songs I listened to when typing the story - or those mentioned in the story as being listened to, as I have been doing for the one arc of the super series I already have going on - as well as a list of chapters for quick linking to a specific chapter. However, for those stories that are in part of two or more - mostly for my super series at the moment, but this can change - instead of there being a list of chapters, it will have what the individual parts of the stories are, as well as the predominent genres, chapter count, and word count in the individual parts. Basically, for the stories that are in parts while still being one story, they look a lot like the main menus do for series and non-series stories.
- Thirdly - and this is only for Super Series - are the third sub-menus, which, for stories that are not in parts, are the chapters for the books in an arc. However, for the stories that are in two or more parts while still being considered one 'book', these pages will look a lot like the first sub-menus do for regular series and non-series stories.
- Finally - and this is only for stories that are turned into parts while stoll being considered one 'book' - the fourth sub-menus pages will be the chaptes of the part of that book.
Next are some individual things to know:
1. All chapters have a link to the reviews page of this site, so there is no reason not to review a story/chapter that you've read. The reviews page is actually linked to this one, but the link to the reviews page is so that you don't have to go back up, hover over this page on the menu, and then click on the sub-menu.
2. I will have a page of author's notes link to the series and stories on this site. Depending on what the series is says on how that will work. Like, the RtB Harry Potter series going on, there series itself has it's own author's notes page, as do the individual stories. However, for other stories, that might not work. I might just only have an author's notes page for just the stories. Or I might just have an author's notes page for the series in whole, and none for the individual story. I can tell you, right now, that stories that are in parts won't have individual author's notes pages for the parts. They will only have it for the full story, if I do it for the individual story at all.
3. I will probably often refer to a story as a book, save for the rather short ones. This is just a habit of mine that I do for stories that are long enough to call a novelette, or close to it, and doesn't really mean anything.
4. All one shots - save for those that can be connected to a series with non-one shot stories in it - are in one place, under the sub-menu title one shots. They can be found under the Non-Series page on the main menu. One shots that can be a sequel to another will be put right after that one. The prequel ones can be placed in front of it. The one shots have no real order, save for those that play off one another. This means that they are pretty much ordered in the way I come out with them.
I might have more to say on this later, but for now, that's all I have to say. I hope you enjoy the way this site is set up.
An Extra Note
This site will not be catering only to stories. I have recently decided to have one main menu page exclusively for my homemade Yugioh cards that I've done. I found a sight that allows you to make such things, and save them to your computer - or your account, if you have one. You can then either post them up on their forums, print them out, or just have them for fun. So far, I haven't run into any problems about them or how many I'm allowed to have up at time, but just in case something comes up, I want to have them somewhere else, and here is my best idea. Also, this is so that others can take a look at them if they wish to.
They will be set up in a certain way. First, I will have the main menu page, which will hold what each set is called, based on how it appears on the card, as well as what the four letters stand for of a set stand for. There will be a little summary of the set, why I decided to make it, and how many cards are in the set. Please note that, for the last bit, that will only happen once all the cards in a set are done, unless I get a brainstorm on that information without having them all done.
Also note, for the cards, I will try to have not all monsters done. That means that I will try to have trap and spell cards in a set, and I will try to have equal amounts of both. It will be kind of hard, but I'm sure that I can do it.
Note
A certain set of pages have been taken down, by me, for reasons that will only be known to me. Most of it has to do with the fact that I plan on doing something with it, while I also plan on beginning to write out the sequel to it - honestly, I'm getting a little bored with the whole 'CR' part of it, and just want to fast forward it a bit. I have been thinking about doing this for a while, too, and I will make mention of it on every one of my profiles.
